View Full Version : 78/9 bronco d44 with 8 lug outers

-Ford high pinion D44 front
-Chevy 8 lug outers (left side flat top knuckle)
-4.88s
-custom heim joint steering w/ QA1 3/4"x3/4" chromoly heims, 1.5"x.25"wall tubing.
-Superlift adjustable trac bar
- shafts need to be checked, i broke one and havent opened it up to see so i dont know if its the stub or the inner
-Brand new brake calipers
-rotors probably have 5k miles on them, same with brake pads
-brand new ujoints with 4 miles on them ( so i would say they are reusable)
$600


- 2 sets of stock radius arms- $50 per set

-one set of radius arm frame mounts - $25


all is still currently in my truck 1996 f-150. can some check it out and i'll take out when ready to load up. once axle is sold, i'll pull and help load. located in college station, TX

what radius arm mounts do you have?

so this is austins old stuff, didn't you just get it under there?

what does "custom heim joint steering" mean? got any pics?

it means that the steering was custom made for a bronco or f150 of the 80-96 variety, and uses heims

and colman, i'll post some pics when im done, its nothing too great

what i was getting at is wanting to know if that meant the stock steering arms are drilled for heims on the tie rod and where does the drag link come into play?

what kind of differential is in it?
