I have been trying to figure out for a while a good way to get videos off of youtube and photobucket, and think that I have a decent way to do it now.

First off, I downloaded realplayer from www.real.com. It is free and pretty easy to set up. When you view a video on PB or utuber, and you place the mouse pointer over the video while it is playing, it will give you a tab above the video that will let you download it.

To convert the videos from the .flv format, I used this link here.

http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html (http://www.erightsoft.info/GetFile.php?SUPERsetup.exe is the executable file link)

It is free and gives you plenty of options as to what type of file you want to save it as and also gives you choices on scale, aspect, quality and such. It is pretty easy to use. I believe it will even let you convert to Ipod compatible files (I dont have an Ipod right now so I am not sure of the specifics of this).

Enjoy.
