Putting it on ugly eric? I've got one sitting in my garage that I was going to put on the runner.

Thanks man! Yeah garrett putting it on uglytruck. I have heard that 22res really benefit from better spark. And the rev limiter will be pretty nice.

Wish they had a 5k limiter. The only ones that come with the MSD are 3, 6, and 8 or 9.

6 should be fine

I'm pretty sure I saw 5k and other stuff available at Smiley's, and then there is the one with the knob that plugs into the same port.

Or you could ditch the loincloth and club and let the computer control the rev limit ;)

sweet! Definitely gonna do that! 6k is probably fine but I will probably shoot for 5, I have looked down and seen the tach at 6 before and it scared the shiat out of me.

If you buy those chip sets from Summit, I may buy 1 or 2 from you that you don't need.

Which ones you need? I had alot but went to one of the turn knob things.

A 5k or something close would be perfect.

Garrett you should be alright with the 'pane but here's some MSD/22re tech:

Guess I need a tach adapter...looks like it's just a transformer. Flem, got instructions for how to make one of those? ;)

Yea, I found that article on the install on pirate, don't know if that's the same one, but the one I saw was the cleanest Toyota engine bay I've ever seen.

I haven't purchased the tach adapter yet and I'll wait to see if I'm going to keep the runner before I order and install either.

couldn't find any, I think thats the reason I ordered the turn knob. I did find a random bag of msd parts, but they must not be that important if I didn't use them. I'll look in Houston but don't count on it.

did you get it yet?

i halfway remembered something last nite about the proper spark plug wires...there was a big warning somewhere that said "DO NOT USE WITH SOLID CORE WIRES"...might double check what you've got
