View Full Version : SHiloh Ridge AWESOMENESS October 17-19.
I hate mud, but this is my favorite run each year. 3 days of East Texas debauchery. Beer, tits, and mud. So far its me, Jeremiah's Love Truck, and the Cardoc crew including several disposal cars I am sure. Bring alcohol.
That is all.

have drive shaft, will travel...
I *might* be in...
So who is actually going?
It doesn't look like anyone from TAMOR
Me towing Bronco
Friends all leaving from CS...
Jeremiah - towing the Tinya Love Truck
Kyle taking his Toyota towing a Ford Windstar party wagon
Lindon towing his 70s Ford
4 Cardoc Toyotas
Cardoc buddys Chevy bodied Rockwell'd rig on 44s
Cardoc is leaving Thursday afternoon. We are leaving around lunch Friday.
Apparently the owners of Shiloh Ridge have cleared alot more land for camping etc, so I do not know where will end up.
O, and Travis you bring the :rainbow::flipoff2:

Windstar, WTF? When did Lindon get that truck? Does he still have BDR's old one?
DRAGOONRANCH
10-11-2008, 11:20 PM
I bet it's what he is towing with...
Kyle is towing a Ford Windstar behind his Tacoma that Cardoc got for a few hundred. I don't know if it will be towed back or just left in some mudhole.
Lindon got some 78ish f150 on 38s....I have never seen it and it sound like a POS, but we'll see. Towing it on a skinny trailer behind his newer F150. I think he got stock size tires from Cooke to fit on the trailer.
BDR's old truck is long gone. Lindon sold it on CL and then I saw it on a used car lot on 6 just south of Waco for a couple months

When I went to the redneckfest I took my shirt off while sitting in line Friday night and didn't put it back on until I left on Sunday. Pissed I'm missing this for a stupid tech game, take lots of pics.
yeah come to think of it now that our season is as it is, I could have made this the game to miss. It already smells like asshole in this town.
Great weekend. Very little pics. Where do these 'necks get money?
The Bronco did great until mulitple minivan crawling attempts were made and I sunk it hood deep. The pretty motor is no more. The starter is toast and for some reason both the hubs broke. They had been fine, but I had heard one clicking all Friday. I got towed back to camp after the starter broke and everything was fine until I tried to winch it up the trailer this morning and both front tires were locked and wouldnt roll. A good teardown and rebuild before Clayton is in order.
Jeremiah got a little drunk. With the newly assembled and professionally welded stacks :gigem: on his 70s K10, the motor really screamed. I made it scream a little too hard and it threw a belt, which let to it going back to camp and tow rig wheeling began. His truck, a 98 stock Chevy 2500 4x4 made several reverse-first dunks through a hood-deep hole before finally succumbing (sp?). The water line is on the side window. We got it out, thought it was a starter, changed some oil, it started once and died. I ended up having to tow it back today after a trailer cluster**** debacle. Its in the Cardoc lot with a new starter yet no oil pressure and a nice bigass knock. I have to go back tomorrow to Alto to pick up "love truck" I let him borrow Lorraine. Tate, he should call you tomorrow, if not I will PM you his number for the tires.
There were at least 4 Rhino/Prowlers on 35+" tires. I would say that maybe 90% of the ATV/UTVs out there were modified with over $1000 were of ****.
The only female skin I saw was a fat girl's ass after she fell of a ATV, got stuck in the mud, and her pants came off after 4 dudes and a winch pulled her out.
I will probably think of more details as the brain recovers. I still have red dirt in many places despite a long shower.

i think that is a mini van
Sharpe

Damn Kyle said he had a long trip back, now I see why
My guess would be that is the mini van they pillaged and at some point lost one or more tire(s).
DRAGOONRANCH
10-23-2008, 11:42 PM
I am pretty sure the mini van doesn't have any straigt body panels left on it from what I read on tx4x4. :D
That Tacoma hauled the minivan down there, but hauled another guys 4runner back. But due to every truck having to be winched on the trailer, we used the Taco to hook to the trailer, then I winched the rigs up onto the trailer.
The minivan surprisingly made it all the way to Saturday night.Didn'teven get stuck too often. Had A/C too.

This 60 has apparently not been maintained properly. :flipoff2:
The u-joint has no grease, so it does not pivot.
The spindle bearing is non-existant. (Does anyone know where I can get this? I have bought one before, but I remember it being a hassle.)
The spindle has seen better days
The bearings are packed well, just not with grease.
The hubs are nasty and need serious cleaning.
The rotors need to be turned
The Warns came out in pieces.
The balljoints squeak.
O and the gear oil was a nice mix of mud, water and a little 80w90
And that is just the driver's side.
