Ok so my little sis will be going to school in either Colorado or Montana so she will be seeing snow. What tires would you guys recommemnd for the 2006 f-250 also what size? Would a larger foot print be better, I would have to think so. Being a Texan all my life I have no advice for her, so tell me what you know and what you would do. Thanks

BFG All-Terrain K/O's in stock size or just a little bigger.

Slinky Modifieds are the best but the 5.2 isnt a bad tire either.
Search slinky snow.
I think Cantebury makes a pretty good one too.

My Dad swears by Dunlop Radial Rover RTs. You can get them in 265/75-16. He's run them on his Range Rover for years and he swears they are the best wet traction/snow traction tires he's ever used. They work pretty well in light off road use as well.

the stock size is 265/70-17s we are either going to keep that or go to 280/70-17s. We are currently leaning toward BFG TA KOs.

We went with the BFG t/a ko 285/70-17, what issues will this have over stock for the tach and spedo? I assume it’s electronically controlled through the OBDII port not through a geared sprocket thingy like the older models. Does anyone think that the 9/10" increase in height need recalibrating and if so how? Thanks

does 2006 still use a vss? I bet its got 4 wheel speed sensors.
You'll be off by 2.6%. When it says 100mph you'll really be doing 102.6mph.
