does anyone know the spline count in a 87 jimmy s 15 w/ a 2.8 and auto

i'm wanting to put a pass drop 241 in place of the stock dd 231

the 241 is from a 90 k5 w/ a 700r4

i think it is 27 spline but don't hold me to it
