This will be discussed at the meeting. It is probably not going to happen this weekend. Between people coming into town for fuel to keep generators running, and others trying to refuel to get out of town after the game there is a chance that it may not be the best idea to plan an outing on Sunday. Steve may also have better things to do at this time than open a gate for us, given that his full time gig might be in demand right now.

We need to get a highway cleanup knocked out pretty soon, so the next trip out there will coincide with that.

I emailed Steve with a tentative schedule of outings to BVORR before our first trip a few weekends ago. The list included our planned Highway 47 cleanup/BVORR trip for next Sunday 9/28. I have been waiting to confirm a trip out there for this weekend due to the hurricane aftermath which has affected alot of schedules. We will discuss this at the meeting tonight and come up with a final verdict.

Ok, we clarified this at the meeting tonight but for those that weren't there or can't remember here we go. We decided that this Sunday is ON, as well as a highway cleanup before hand. There will be NO trip next weekend the 28th as advertised on the business-card. --Just for you Ed— Times to be announced later.

I'm going to call Steve after 7.

The plan is to meet at McDonalds off of University at 11:30a.m. Sunday. From there we will be heading out to do the highway cleanup on Hwy47, it shouldn't take more than an hour or so to complete. Afterwards we will go wheel at BVORR, (estimating around 1:30ish). Same deal as last time, we all need to go in as one group, after we get in Steve will be locking the gate. If you are not planning on doing the highway cleanup, then you need to be at the gate around 1:00-1:30.

I just got back home, we had a blast. I think Brian's tacoed tie-rod was the only casualty.

my exhaust system came apart. i didnt know till i got on the highway n it sounded a hell of a lot louder. its all welded except the clamp where the pipe from muffler connects to pipe after cats came loose n the pipe fell out, nuthin major like the tie rod. just gunna reinsert it after it cools off :gigem:

oo and i got the pictures my friend took on my computer so if anyone has a host ill e-mail em to yea. I know chris said he did

I took a couple before I took off. I'll post them up tonight. Sorry if I seemed agitated with the situation out there. It was kinda hot, and I was slightly hungover, so the fact that riders were being charged the same amount as wheelers didn't realy sit well with me. Never realized that's how Steve operated out there.

don't worry about it, phone was on the counter while I was busy swapping one broken piece of **** for another. Drivers side lock broke and I did not feel like doing a dukes of hazard style vehicle entrance and exit all day.
