haha no thanks. I am just trying to clear out the garage. I live close enough the Brune's as is, don't need to acquire one of their old trucks too...

if you'll build it and cut the price in half minus $500, brandon is a buyer

hahaha, now that's funny.

Well I did. A LOT of stuff, but this past week I ended up selling ALL of my parts for it, and recovered a whole lot of my money, so since I am now free of the parts it is time to get rid o' the truck.

A newb really needs to buy this. Sell some plasma or somthing. Great platform to start.

The perfect platform. 85 was the only year you could get the Runner with a solid axle and the 22RE (fuel injection....), I will even throw in an SR5 Gauge Cluster with purchase. :D

Hell the Top comes off, you can cruise around and pick up all the 80's chicks! And you can get at least 3" of suspension lift for under $200, weld the rear and throw some 35's on it and you are wheeling with the best of TAMOR! :flipoff2:

Had any bites yet? Price still seems a bit high for someone to turn into a wheeling rig. The shape that this thing's in, it would make a better DD.

FJAggie07
10-09-2008, 10:51 AM
yeah it would be great DD.

But unlike a lot of people in TAMOR not everyone has a tow rig, and this truck would me a great DD/wheeler. Something you could actually drive out to Katemcy and back again and have a blast... That was my idea with it, drive it to Colorado, wheel the piss out of it and come on back home.

Today only. If you come and pick it up this weekend, and I do not have to reseal the oil pan or fix the exhaust leak, meaning you bring a trailer and pick it up, I will throw in the Thorley Headers, the rebuilt IFS steering box, Oil pan Seal, and old exhaust manifold and piping.

All for $3250.

I want it gone this weekend, if no one takes it and I have to fix the exhaust leak (missing a stud in the block) and oil pan seal, it goes right back up to $3750.

Great Deal, come get it.

Think it would tow a boat? I want this thing, not sure what the hell for. Want to trade for a really sweet car hauler?

FJAggie07
10-10-2008, 01:31 PM
No need for a Car hauler Jimmy, although it is sweet, I saw it this weekend. Don't have anything to pull a car hauler :)

Yes it will pull a boat.

Yes Jimmy, you should definitely pick this thing up. Another Toyota in the Brune driveway would be perfect, and you'll be able to wheel something with a/c again so maybe you can get your new girlyfriend to go wheel with you.

Got a plan...

1.)Trade me trailer for 4runner.
B.)Sell FJ and buy a truck (I'd probably get a Tundra) to pull trailer (see 1)
4.)Take money from parts you sold to buy something to build(I'd start with an '85 4runner) and haul around on the trailer.(see 1)

My 3 step plan makes perfect sense! :gigem:

I do like Lucky Chan's...

I'm trying to get my bro-in-law to buy it so he has something awesome to drive in Mizzou winters. Trucks like this are pretty slim up that way. Most of them are pretty rusted away.
