bcolman and i were thinking of doing a wheeling trip one of the weekends on spring break, figured we could hit up spring creek one day and possinbly huntsville the next. My parents have a lake house in conroe that we could all stay at, we could hang out at the lake when not wheeling. And there is plenty of property to park trailers and trucks across the street. Figured it would be a pretty good weekend, anybody wana go? the more the better.

If I do not leave Texas, I will be in for this. Spring Creek is practically my back yard (not really).

It was very muddy. The ZJ kicked serial ass. All Season Radials are where its at. It did break the pass. side CV, but I got it replaced and kept wheeling. Big dent in the passenger door now and I do not know if the t-case skid is still there.

some water in the distributer cab, a loose clutch rod,a starter, two cases of beer, some rain, a stock zj, turned out to be a awsome dayone awsone day!

I fixed the door. It does not look too bad.

Last night after the Colmans left, I ironically came upon a dead 86 Bronco. He was having fuel issues, which he later found out to be a fuel line connector back at the tank. The ZJ towed the dead weight from second beach all the way to the front camp through all sorts of nasty mud. And it wouldn't have needed help at all if Cory would have gotten the hell outta the way on that last hill! This little Jeep performed very well. The t case skid is ripped off the unibody but I can probably fix it.

Colman dropped off some free rims for it today:flipoff2:. It is for sure getting bigger tires anda 2-3" lift.

and from reading that post, it looks like only one person was involved in the consumption of said cases of beer. :gigem:

it was multiple ppl involved with the beer. I dont think it would have mattered if i had moved or not it was a decent little hill, i will give the stock zj comps but i can only give it so much..... dont forget about that fancy knew jeep you pulled out with it also, i think the beer consumption had something to do with the capabilities of the zj....
