Just throwing around the idea of who wants to make a run out to k-rocks before they shut down for good.

What weekend would work best for everyone?

I would really like to make it out there. I just need a couple off weeks heads up first.

i would like to really do this as well. I vote the second to last or last event out there. the last event will probably have tons of people with it being the last time to ever wheel at k-rocks. My vote more toward memorial day but either i could prolly make happen.

Just got back from K-Rocks this weekend. Damn good time, everyone should make at least one more trip out if they can. They cut down the flopping tree, after one last contest this past weekend...

i'm still up in the air whether or not i'll be wheeling memorial day, but the plan in building the Taco was to have it done by then so I could go to Katemcy that weekend. If it does happen, Nix will also be heading to Katemcy with me...

...but like I said, its all still up in the air whether i'll be able to go anywhere at this point.

JB

Cory did roll it 1.5 times. He is also having issues with getting it in gear, ut the carb seems to be working fine. I broke a front driveshaft, but got the spare on. Brian stripped the steering wheel adapter, broke a front d-shaft and a rear u-joint and had cooling fan issues. Everyone is back together now and ready for tomorrow.

Over 250 rigs so far, the final count will prob be around 300.

THe band is on now. WIll post back up tomorrow.

JB

I broke a front driveshaft, but had a spare. I also lost a bead on Looney Tunes. The PVC insert is MIA. I thought I might have left it in the gashed tire from two year ago, but just checked the backyard and it is not in there. It has to be broken up inside the tire somwhere. Cory lit it up and reseated the bead. The motor ran fine all weekend. The GLO diff covers took a huge beating, as did my tie rod. I am in need of much bigger tires and much stronger shackles. I bent 2 F450 shackles. The front bumper/mini stinger helped alot. Winch got its first real workout too.

Brian broke the front driveshaft twice, the second time for good. He got all kinds of ****ed up on the v notch on waterfall. The tranny lost alot of fluid. The tensioner or idler is making alot of noise and the wiring for the fans is sketchy.

Cory had alot of issues. Carb, trans, driveshaft etc.

We wheeled today with the SchrockWorks guy in his nicely built JK as well as a K5 on Boggers. Faggie you need his bumpers for yours. Very slick looking.

A ton of people out there. Saw Busa for a little bit. It is crazy to see all the money in some of these rigs. This sport has changed so much in 10 years.

Funny you should mention that, I am picking up a Shrockworks front bumper this weekend for the jeep. They look real nice. I am actually getting a different rear bumper but the deals were too good to pass up. I think they will look nice.
