1984 Monark Brand 14' long aluminum boat. Good shape (considering it is 25 years old). Has a mid 1980's 25 hp mercury pull start, tiller steer on it. Trolling motor, running lights, bilge pump, depth finder, lights, built in cooler, 3 seats, bimini top, pretty much everything you can put on a 14' aluminum boat. Comes with trailer (1-7/8 ball).
Motor starts and runs well. Starts within 10 pulls when cold and 2 or 3 once warm. No title for trailer or motor. Boat is titled and registered in my name. Have registration tags (not on boat yet) good until March 2011.
Selling because I bought a pontoon boat and no longer need this. Great boat for fishing, hunting, or whatever. Asking $1900 OBO. I realize people on this board are probably not interested, but maybe you know someone who is. Craigslist ad has pictures.

20', 40 hp, max speed is 16.2 mph. This of course makes the boat under the 50hp intoxication/drivers license suspension law.... But back to this boat for sale.

Not exactly, Here is what the law says in a Q/A format:

Q: Can my driver's license be suspended if I'm arrested for operating a boat while intoxicated?
A: Yes. Effective 9/1/2001, a person's drivers license will be automatically suspended if the arrested person:

Is operating a watercraft powered with an engine having a manufacturer's rating of 50 horsepower or above; and
The person refuses to provide a specimen (breath or blood) to determine intoxication.
The period of suspension for 1st time offenders is 180 days.

So I think they can still get you for being drunk and operating a boat, but they can not get your license.

That being said, the aluminum boat falls into this also, and has everything you can put on an aluminum boat, so buy it.
