I started mine a couple weeks back in anticipation of this event. Jeep may make it, and be towed by ford or dodge, or in diesel fag speak, powerstroke or cummins, perhaps on a jeep hauling trailer. At the moment, the only one ready is dodge, or cummins as you may say.

noted.

i should just buy one these things, but this whole needing to buy a house right before clayton does not help.

Ed... what kind of train are you running this year?

eight
08-28-2009, 09:58 PM
I can throw the trailer in with the house, you don't even have to move it.

Once I move I'll probably be selling the trailer. If I have my boat on a lift I'll just add some rails to it's trailer and use it to haul the jeep.

No train this year. Creighton will have my GN at his place, so he is going to bring it up himself. No time or money to get the Pete outfitted for this yet, so just my red dually and Creighton's bumper pull. :p

Just reserved a room at the A&A main building for Hayley & I Thursday - Sunday. Other than that, no strict plans yet. Not sure what my tow vehicle situation will be so it would be nice to find a trailer spot. Actually, I have a trailer, so maybe I just need a tow and some passenger space. I will firm this up as it gets closer.

My welder is already on my GN ready to head up there and we can work it out if someone else wants to bring their torches. Grandad found the gauges right before we left out for trees, so I will have them available either way. Actually I'll be 7 months pregnant :) And I don't plan on doing heavy wheeling either, probably just cruise around...pull people out. The last pregnancy I was just a passenger and walked the trails. Bouncing around isn't the problem in a pregnancy either...it's the risk of rolling over or hurting yourself physically by falling. Babies are very safe otherwise in a moms belly....which is why you'll even see pregnant marathon runners :gigem:

Actually I'll be 7 months pregnant :) And I don't plan on doing heavy wheeling either, probably just cruise around...pull people out. The last pregnancy I was just a passenger and walked the trails. Bouncing around isn't the problem in a pregnancy either...it's the risk of rolling over or hurting yourself physically by falling. Babies are very safe otherwise in a moms belly....which is why you'll even see pregnant marathon runners :gigem:

Sweet, didn't know any of that! :gigem:

I think the children of pregnant marathon runners are as crazy as they are. I'm sure the baby will come out fine after running a marathon 3 months before it comes into the world or whatever, but if it came out all jacked up I think it'd be tough to live with even if the marathon had nothing to do with it. How would you know?

If a marathon runners baby came out jacked up, my first thought probably wouldn't be that it was becuase they had an active lifestyle....I think the person would likely attribute it to the dozens of alcoholic beverages they might have had prior to even knowing they were pregnant.

I like the first pic as well. I'm trying to keep with the "carnage" theme so a layover or a roll would be best IMO.

Someone needs to check with CC Creations and see if the standard is that they still charge per color. That is what it used to be and is why I have been changing all the pics to black and white. They might come out better if we were allowed to print in color.

85cj7
09-23-2009, 11:34 AM
BDR, yes cc creations charges by color and by machine used.

I know pictures look cool in theory, but graphics are the way to go, the pics either have to be laserjetted or silkscreened which is expensive and looses alot of resolution. Look at our previous years they have been graphics for a reason, the only shirt with pics that we have produced recently (3 years) that I can think of are the TCCVI shirts with Eds beast on the back. And I always thought those were grainy.

A graphic would be better, but hell, I'm just glad someone is proposing ideas, so propose on!

I still don't get WTF you need pockets for. The only thing a pocket on a t-shirt will hold is a pack of lucky strikes...and those should be rolled up in your sleeve anyway.:flipoff2:

I've got a little cleaning up to do on the image...I just threw that one together.

Should the image be white or black on the gray background? Or maroon like the letters?

Like this on the front, but say TAMOR instead.

http://rlv.zcache.com/samcro_t_shirt-p235202193856628125qmbd_400.jpg

Then on the back the design above, but just "Clayton 09" above it or below it. (Although I like the skull or similar theme better) The t-shirt should be in black, because we are not a bunch of *****s, and no pockets because last I checked we weren't gay.

I've been watching the show from the begining of season 1 and for the life of me cant remember where they had anything to do with porn. I keep hearing references to it on the show but am clueless.

they got a piece of otto's girl's porn biz a few episodes ago. Apparently they had a cut before but now they have a big enough chunk to be partners, as bobby found out otto's ho was "stiffing" them and keeping two sets of books for a number of years.

That was recent, so you may mean prior to that, in which case i dont think they really mentioned previously.

I've been going fishing with Grayson's church fishing retreat for 5 years now. I love the t-shirt from the event and wear it all the time as does Grayson. I have at least 7 of them from fire sales they have from previous year's shirts. They always have a different color, and before the white one was my least favorite. That is until this year they added a pocket and no small design on the front of a white shirt. I never wear that one, it's still brand new looking. It looks like I'm wearing an undershirt, and seems like the qulity is ****tier even though it's the same brand as before. I'm just trying to say I take my t-shirts serious, and white with a pocket on the front makes me want to punch Beaver's new puppy in the face, right between his big stupid ears!

Oh damn, well I don't want that cute puppy to be punched in the face.... Therefore we can't have white shirts...

That's the problem...I'm not a graphic artist, I'm a photo-chopper.:D

I may try to sketch some graphic ideas and scan them in if I have a chance.

The shirt places have good artists if we bring them the idea.
