We will be having a trip this upcoming Sunday, the 27th of Sept.

We hope to go to BVORR on HWY 47, however due to the rain it will most likely be rained out.
Fees: $10 per person

So in this event we will go to Soggy Botton on HWY 21.
Fee information/directions:http://www.soggybottomatvranch.com/index.html

In either situation, we will meet behind McDonalds on Northgate at 11:30 am. and be at the gates on the ranch at 12:00 noon.

how deep is the mud out at soggy bottom?

0 ft - however deep you want to go

Last time, and the only time I went out there most of the trails had some sort of bypass around the deep deep mudholes. It is mainly an ATV place. Essentially you drive out there drink some beers, do a few rooster tails and call it a day. I am thinking about dragging the klogger up there this weekend, especially since I *****ed about having the event soon....

so are you going to have the power for those new fancy tires of yours or are you gonna have to regear/ make that bastard doubler you were talking about

KrazyKarl02
09-24-2009, 03:29 PM
I will have the power of a new alternator, fan clutch, and u-joints. The tires will take the ultimate doubler (what you refer to as bastard) and the removal of the twin traction beam front end....

However for the mud the 37's and TTB will dominate.

colman
09-24-2009, 03:31 PM
so by dominate are you refering to the dominoe affect of total destruction?

he has proved that ttb is stronger than his t-case and many other parts on the klogger so i doubt it

I'm up for riding along. I'll take the buggy if someone wants to tow and help me wash it out after, but I'm not much of a mud guy...

i can tow

KrazyKarl02

I know Doug has permanent shotgun, since he provided the cab. Other than that, anyone who can grab a handle is welcome to roll.

Everyone come out, I would invision us basically unloading and driving to that field to drink some beers. Then we will watch people run through mud puddles. Occasionally someone will break a D60 shaft and then flip their truck.

My point, to come and hang out you do not have to have an extreme truck or get it really muddy. Now if you drink a few beers and decide to run through mud puddles, it will get muddy....

i can also provide a tow if someone needs it

You can also send your truck airborne on that small hill/jump by where cook rolled.

I'm in. I will probably just partake in the beer drinking phase though. I live out that way now off 21 before Kurten, so I maybe I can meet ya'll out there around noon.

What new members are coming to this? Who is taking responsibility for making sure they have the info needed. Remember, this is the point of this trip...to get the new guys involved.

BTW, why aren't there any posts from new members on the board yet?

DRAGOONRANCH
09-26-2009, 05:55 AM
There are no 'new members'. The newest member has a join date of March of this year, so either they haven't created a profile yet, or they have and either haven't paid or mods haven't activated.

Then someone needs to get on the phone with the 6 new guys that signed up. Not much point of this first trip (and paying $10 each for a muddy mess) if no new members are coming.

If I didn't have Missouri floorboards, I wouldn't mind playing in the mud so much. That **** is hard to floss out.

Everyone had a great time out wheeling today. Colman brought his contraption that couldn't run for more than 45 seconds at a time. Cook brought his 3 wheel drive behemioth. One new member with the JK came out to get muddy and Hayden ployed 5 tons of mud out of the way while connected to Flem's rover.

With such a small place we made the best of it.

Talked to Steve at BVORR and odds are we will be wheeling there next weekend. So watch the boards for the future date.

but it did run long enough to get all 4 wheels airborne 3 feet off the ground

And I won the record today for the most times requiring a tow.

Did anyone catch the guys name in teh JK? Seems like a nice guy. Make sure we get him on the board. Did we get any other applications? Is anyone talking to any new fish about joining? We need new people and we do not need to scare them off.
