So I just found out that my head unit has no remote turn on lead
fawking germans!

Any way to get the amp to turn on without killing the battery while the car isn't on?

just wire it to a circuit that only turns on when the ignition is turned on

Checked all the fuses under hood but not kick panel... all of them draw power even when the car is off... Can I wire in some sort of switch? I'm getting very frustrated with this damned car.

alot of circuits on german cars are gound switched. porsche and bmw cars are this way I know 4sure.

tap into the radio fuse, should be switched 12v

give me a call later and come by the house i will find one for you, just please promise me not to call the jetta a slab or some other ghetto term and i revoke my services if you are putting a bunch of 12's in the trunk and 5 6x9's across the rear package tray

are you talking about a fuse? I have fuses.. I haven't been living under a rock or anything :gigem:

go down texas, turn right on villa maria, left at first stoplight (wayside) 4 blocks down on left, jeep in front of house, blazer(or whats left of it) in driveway

actually brian helped you, i was still in my test so didn't get a call cause my phone was off. so at what point does brian get to steal colman from me. i was here first (goes to room to cry his self to sleep)
