i doubt anyone has any laying around so i will prob have to get them new but was just checking. i haven't confirmed it yet but ive heard that axles prefer if you have the same ratio front and rear. sounds kinda fishy to me tho :p

That is a myth. The proper way to set up an off road rig is with a numerically lower gear in the front axle. That way the front wheels will spin faster than the rear wheels. This way the front axle "pulls the truck through things. So 3.55's in the front, 4.11's in the rear.....

By the way, a guy actually told me this once... If you take this advice, bring a few extra driveshafts...

Thats true for sand drags and sled pulls, Thats why I'm running a 4.11 rear and 4.09 front.

I just bought my gears from these guys. Best price I could find, and a nice guy.

Isuzu rodeos used thick gear sets in the rear Dana 44s from 93-96. Supposedly if you can find a rodeo with a 4 cylinder in that year range it will have a 4.56 ratio. All I've ever found in a junkyard from that year range was V6 though, which have 4.10 ratio.
