Anyone got any 5"x3"x1/4" angle need about a foot and 15"x6" of 3/16" plate? If nothing turns up I'll just go to mack bolt and steel but wanted to see if any members had some first. Thanks

x2. they're much better about having drops and/or cutting custom sizes. you can also get cheap plate at the new metal part of bryan iron and metal. ask for mill plate.

where is custom fab, I have never heard of that place before?
John, I did think of bryan iron, you think they have that much better prices? Isn't it just based off market value?

custom fab is on 2818 near the industrial park in bryan. i dont recall how much cheaper the mill plate is at bryan iron but it was enough that i used it almost exclusively while i was in BCS.

of the mill plate. its odd shaped pieces from the beginning or end of a mill run hence the lower price. they might only cut half sheets of the regular 4x8 stuff but i cant remember for sure.

and you have to buy full or half stick of materlial now too. I only use custom fabe now, they always have clean metal, cut what ever you need and can get DOM within a week. They are a little pricey then everyone else, but they always have what i need and i dont have to drive or deal with idiots
