Fags. How are you supposed to out-redneck the competition if you're limited in tire size?!?!?!?

no military style axles

I guess that rules out the disco.

Fuick, I missed that myself sharpe. I feel bad for even posting it now, that is half the fun of this event. Guess they had to stipulate that to lease the land.

Meh, all that means is we get to pile into Tommy's, Sparling's, Sam's and all the other small-tire rigs and go tear some **** up!

You do realize though that with the combined panty-pullin power that pigpen and the beast would have riding around, every Katie in the place would be at our mercy. ;)

I think I need to go find a huge tranny cooler so I don't toast another one. I'd also like to make half doors for this, maybe just the drivers side.

Gotta keep an eye on the 80" max width rule too. I am seriously curious about some of the redneck-logic used to make rules like these.

yep, my wms-wms is near that already. They REALLY don't want the big trucks in there tearing up the big holes. The BIG mud trucks really put on a good show most of the time, must be a really big deal to the land owner I guess.

Big trucks kill people, four-wheelers make just as big and nasty holes.

Have you not seen the idiots on the 4wheelers at these events? They kill/maim people just as easy. (just ask Brady :D )

Hmm, I wonder if I could just put a trailer behind the beast and call it my tow rig? Haul it to Alto on the GN, then just unload it and hook up a bumperpull w/ a few four wheelers on it. Just need to get lights and plates for it to make it half way legal on the road. :D

To clarify, Reneck Games is July 29. This is for ATVs and truck under 35" tires. It just happens to be in Alto at some new park. I know nothing more about it.

Shiloh Ridge 2010 Halloween Run is in October. I can pretty much George Foreman guarantee that it will be eleventy billion times more fun than this other park.

Where does stuff stop spinning?

sam_hodnett
07-27-2010, 06:26 PM
I dont really know, all i know is that a few weeks ago when it was on a lift, when it was in 4 hi, the front wheels spun, but when i needed it in the middle of the pond, the back wheels spun and the front wheels did nothing, in 4 hi and lo

bcolman

check and make sure the shift linkage is still connected, there isnt a broken axle shaft (i am assuming it is open), and that the hubs are locked

sam_hodnett
07-27-2010, 07:01 PM
both CV axles are good, and it doesnt have locking hubs

85cj7
07-27-2010, 10:45 PM
Are you sure that BOTH front tires weren't spinning. In an open diff it would make sense for only one to spin because the spider gears direct the power to the path of least resistance.

sam_hodnett
07-29-2010, 09:23 AM
yes i am, one of my buddies was in there with me, and his side wasnt spinning either
