Well it sounds like you have a good idea worked out in your head on how to get it done with cash this summer. Never finance toys, always buy them with cash. :)

Sam, start applying for every grant you can think of...... or just go the student loan route. Fjaggie has a good point about not pulling out a loan for a toy, But at the same time I might pay attention when you speak if you were driving the yota. hahaha
