I like the looks of truggy's that kept some type of rear bedside on the truck. I realize it they will get beat up, but body damage is also cool.

What is an estimate on how much the bedside only on a short bed weighs once shelled out? I'm thinking 50lbs at max, does this sound about right? I'm thinking that might be the route I wanna go once I finish all the DriveTrain stuff. 100 extra pounds doesn't sound like to bad a sacrifice for a cleaner look.

If you have any pics of chevy truggy's with bedsides post them up.

I would think that if you really gutted the bedsides, you could get both skins to total out at ~50lbs and save some more. Just have to get real creative with the plasma/hacksaw is all.

Yeah Tommy I know the truck you are talking about.

I'm talking to a guy about a bed that has both the gas door and tail lights shaved, but I'm thinking I would like to keep the gas door to fill up my tank.
