KOH stock and stock-mod

stock and stock-mod specification 6.3-6.4

From what I've gathered:

Stock - 35's or smaller, un-modified factory body and frame except outer fenders trimming and holes for roll cage, no bypass or >3 inch shocks, factory suspension

Stock mod - 37's and smaller, must have factory frame (can be modded) and keep factory appearance, <2.5 inch or less shocks and no more than two at each corner.


Since my dodge is out, what would be the best set-up for either class?


I was thinking(dreaming ) for the stock class:

1996 f-150 single cab, 351, e4od

Suspension:
Front- 4 inch deaver coils, cut and turned beams, 2.5 shocks
Rear- 4 inch deaver leafs, 2.5 shocks

Axles:
front- dana 44 TTB
rear- 8.8

Stock Class rules says: "6.3.7.1 Any and all axle assemblies are permitted, providing they meet all the additional rules and regulations specified herein."

I don't see why you couldn't swap the rear to a 9". Would suck to DNF due to a broken c-clip.

I do think you're on the right track. TTB Fords have been around the desert scene for ages. And we've all seen the Klogger TTB rule the rocks. :D

Seen it happen on the tough trucks at the dome quite often. Go to round the corner and the axle comes sliding out. Pull it apart and find the c-clip in pieces.
