I know I'm always running across build threads I think are cool, so why not share?
Here is a pretty slick suspension set-up on a Bronco, they even copied Tommy's radius arms!

out of all the badass build threads on there u pick that? u can tell off-road newbs are building it even if they wouldn't have stated it in the first place. that build would be more at home on pirate

Does it have 3 fire extinguishers?
IIRC it only has one actual fire-extinguisher, the other two are actually disguised NOS bottles.

Yes I just read the whole thread. It is awesome, but i want the last 2 hours of my life back
Also mounted the fire extinguishers. 2 5lb ABC, and 1 5lb halotron which was $$$.

Yes, but you have to respect the insane amount of work put into that thing. I dont like the stack
BroncoJo
10-27-2011, 07:51 PM
I like the stack, gets the fumes/smoke out of the way. I'm not a big fan of the bumpers and it looks way tall?
Deluxe
10-27-2011, 08:39 PM
Ive been followin that build since it started. Its tall because they werent sure what they needed and were trying to finish it in time for sema. They plan to adjust it properly after and wheel it. You would think they would of opted for a rear bumper that didnt have the cutout for a spare though

Interesting, reminds me of a dune buggy. Are those the final size tires? I just skimmed.
Also, what will this thing have over a stock framed rig? Seems that would be easier to get street legal.
sam_hodnett
01-15-2012, 10:00 PM
Yes those will be the final tire size from what i understood. And I really dont know about the advantage over stock frame
tigweld
01-16-2012, 03:21 PM
just about any stock frame is to wide and most dont have very high kick ups front or rear, those would be the main advantages to me besides not having to cut off old brackets, and fill unneeded holes.

If ya'll aren't following this thread, it's worth it. This is Lee Novikof, class of '91 I believe. I try to swing by his place every chance I get to see this thing, just plain sick.
He has a garage / showroom for his finished toys; a garage for his toterhome with trailer, a two story shop, and another garage where he parks the wifes daily drivers. Crazy stuff.
He gets me parts, like Red Krawlers, ORI shocks, etc... He knows lots of people.
