You can't cheap out too much on a deck but you certainly don't need to spend upwards of $100 to get a good one.

If you are not picky about sound quality, I have used this Pyle:

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=pyle+marine+radio&hl=en&cid=11101760587577184562&ei=VVNqTvWVF4OCNYrbsNgH&ved=0CGEQ8wIwBg#p

It is cheap and a marine radio. I have it in the klogger and have installed the same head unit in 2 boats with no great issues. I can not tell if the qound quality is bad because of the head unit or the crappy speakers. I like it because in a boat or klogger like scenario it is cheap, so if it gets ruined I am not pissed. Plus it has an aux in, plays mp3's on cd's, and has a remote.

You can introduce yourself here: http://www.tamor.org/forums/showthread.php?2598-Official-newbie-introduction-thread.../page13

And post some pictures of your truck

still looking? I bought an Alpine CDE-100 earlier this year that I just replaced. Half off, $50. Getting it to CS might be an issue but we'll figure something out

Why are you replacing it? And do you have any pictures of it?

I put the stock radio back in modified with an aux port. The stock one is black, matches the vehicle, has weatherband. The Alpine (like all sub $200 headunits) has red and blue lights, digital volume control knob, looks like crap, no weatherband.

It's in new shape, no picture, but google images can show you what it looks like. Maybe 1/2" was cut off the harness when removed from vehicle.
