cams are in the wrong spot with the fomoco powerplants

The decimal on the price tag is in the wrong spot on a ford power plant too, as well as the torque curve.

Truth, the first time I saw this guy wheel was at Clayton... It was hilarious to watch him go up a trail in 10 seconds that took the rest of the guys 10 minutes.

Sweet! I didn't know you were using Cruiser badging. It's going to be awesome!
Yep. I am a Toyota guy. It is time to go back. Jeeps are not really for me.

I am definitely going to keep my eye on this. Please keep on updating the thread when you get pics and make choices and such :D
This project may be put on hold after i get the chassis. We are planing on relocating to the Montgomery area. I have a lead on a job so that is going to be the determining factor if we do. But I will be collecting parts as I get them.
I may consider selling the jeep after the first of the year if anyone is interested.
Troy and I will be headed to South Dakota after work to pick up our chassis and do some wheeling.

take care of my trailer!
SO if two rigs are on the trailer, where will the chassis(s) go?
We have a plan for everything to fit.
We should be in Rapid City around 9am. Meeting up with Jason Paule the owner of Twisted Custom to do some wheeling today. Going to try to wheel Sat as well if the weather allows.
18948189491895018951We made it back. Only had 2 trailer tires blow out in Okl City with in 10min of each other on the way home.

Double ended ram looks nice, you should have convinced Scott to go the same route.

I was going to go the same way he did but i did not like the set up. I tried to talk him in to it but like it simple. You should come buy Sat night and check it out. I could use someone to look things over.

Blah - I like the way the forces go with the single ended ram. Everything pushs straight - no side loading. I think it will also look really good with the ram being hidden behind the axle.
I made my THIRD set of steering arms last night, these should work, just need to adjust their location a little more from where they are currently tacked in. Turns out, 1/8" inboard / outboard or a degree off on caster makes a huge difference on the amount of throw each direction.
I will be working on the car tomorrow evening in Anderson if anyone would like to come out. It would be good to have someone else look over thing.

Well the car is finally ready to get powder coated. I could use some help taking it apart on Friday evening. If anyone is interested let me know. I am in Anderson.
The car is getting paint and powder coating. Hope the have the chassie back at the end of next week. The plan is to have it running at the end of October. I could use some help putting it together when I get it back.

I dig it. Why didn't you put a foot hold in the skins? Most doorless buggies have a foot hole so you can climb in without stepping on the tires.

That's what the milk crate is for Tate. Sheesh! :flipoff2:
There are foot cut outs in the skins. Still need to have the skins painted but need to pick up the paint in Denton. Will get it on the way to Clayton
