Hey yall,
I've been looking for a badass, strong stinger bumper for my yota for a long time, but I've never had the balls to get one. Yall got any suggestions? Or even know of anyone who could help me build a sexy bumper (like on the front of that guys black jeep cherokee).

I used square for sliders, that isnt expensive, maybe $40??. Ive never bought DOM tubing so I don't know the price on that

Last time we bought 1 3/4 .120 hrew was around 2 a foot and Dom was 3-4.

I think i'd rather do dom tubing, just cause i think it'd look better.

just an FYI there is not outside look difference in HREW and DOM, just the way that they are made

I think he was referencing between Square and round Tube.

yeah, i was just talkin about the round tubing. but thank yall for clarifying.
i really like the look of the round ones, and they would be really easy to connect to whenever i fully cage the yota

Where would you suggest looking for hrew or dom around here? Just a quick google search looks like Mack Bolt & Steel may have hrew

yall should help me convince this guy who is selling his 96 yota SAS ( http://www.tamor.org/forums/showthread.php?12238-96-Tacoma-SAS-Diamond-Axle-Dual-Cases-Flopped-Cab-8-000-OBO ) to part with his flatbed, if yall think it would fit my 93?
that would AWESOME!!!

That truck should be sold complete

he said it only cost him 500 to build that flatbed, does that sound right?

He bought that truck with the bed on it. That is an estimation, probably pretty close

***. This kid is great.

Yes it was an estimate, my buddy who built the truck built the bed. You could adapt it to fit your truck, but be ready to bob your frame.

BTW it would be cheaper for you, and much less of a PITA to just order a tube bumper "with a badass stinger" and throw it on your truck. http://www.trail-gear.com/bumpers $369 (which is cheap for a bumper)

While you are add it save on shipping and get a pair of sliders for another $180 http://www.trail-gear.com/rock-sliders

i like the trail gear stinger and sliders, but i think it might be cheaper to just build the sliders.
and at the point of time that you are ready to part off your flatbed, i bet i'll be ready to bob my frame

You are right definitely cheaper, but there is something to be said about not denting your cab, while you let tubing sit around for 2.5 years thinking about making sliders. ;)
