ruger 10/22

Just like the title says. I'm looking for a ruger 10/22 rifle for some plink'in. I've checked out a few local pawn shops and have been suprised how few pawn shops sell guns around here??

How serious are you about this plinking? I have a Savage bolt action bull barrel with accutrigger and 3 part laminate wood thumbhole stock and sweet 22 scope I'd sell, but it ain't cheap. Model is Mark II BTVRJ. You would be very unlikely to find another like it, but they did make at least 2. The .17 BTVRJ looks exactly like it and they made a bunch of those.

Well, one of the primary reasons for going with the 10/22 is how cheap they are and all the aftermarket support. I can afford the rifle right now but not all the goodies. I plan on getting a decent optic, barrell, stock, possibly upgrade the trigger but not all at the same time.
