Excellent, I think my neighbor with the big heep is going to come too, so after Kopecki gets tired of the lo lux they can do some real trails.

This is at the 'Hidden Falls Adventure Park', correct? Depending on if our Bobcat is out of the shop by this weekend, I may be down with a fourwheeler.

I could probably tow someone or another fourwheeler if needed.

My neighbor sent me a text saying that his buddy from Austin is bringing this out this weekend to marble falls....

KrazyKarl02

It also looks like there are no operable doors, what a piece of ****, I mean what fun is it if you have a seat belt and the door can not come open randomly....

BroncoJo
02-29-2012, 11:14 AM
Does that look like it has extremely poor visibility out the front to anybody else?

KrazyKarl02
02-29-2012, 11:20 AM
The seat does look low in comparison to the cowl and it looks like it could be top heavy, but it is nicer than any of the junk I own, or for that matter anyone in this club owns, I mean with the exception of Hot Pocket's Bronco, I mean that bronco probably has a better stereo...

FJAggie07
02-29-2012, 11:38 AM
It has one of them fancy Warn's with the compressor built in. Oooohhhhhh.....Aaaaaahhhhh. It actually looks relatively low for a rockwell'd rig IMO

Last minute but I'm going to try and make it.

So who all is bringing their rig?

Anyone rolling out of H-town on friday? What time?

KrazyKarl02
02-29-2012, 10:56 PM
David-O bringing a 4 wheeler
Cody - Some sort of 4 wheeler
Rodney - some sort of 4 wheeler
2 of David-O's friends are bringing 4 wheelers
Kopecki - CJ8
Kopecki's brother - I think he is bringing some kind of razor
My Neighbor - Jeep on 44's with a stack
Neighbor's friend - bringing rig seen on other page
and I am bringing the most extreme $500 rig ever - the lo lux!

KrazyKarl02
02-29-2012, 10:57 PM
I will be rolling out of H-town Friday morning, I have a work meeting in Austin a little before noon, then I will be out there, hoping to tool around a little Friday afternoon.

Got the Lo Lux on the trailer and the trailer attached to the RV. I talked with Robbie, he is going. Should be kick ass, weather looks good.

Had a good time, weather was awesome.

Got there Friday afternnon, cooked up some sausage and hit some trails with the lo lux, Kopecki's scrambler, and a razor. Kopecki took us up an ATV trail and I hung the lo lux on a cedar tree shearing my valve stem off. I managed to get it hung so bad that my Ramsey 8000 doubled with a snatch and Kopecki's M8000 could not pull it forward. Using some polish logic we pulled side ways and forward and got it out. Went back to Camp, robbie and David O showed up.

Saturday we cooked some eggs up and hit the trails. Drove for a little while, nothing to crazy and I broke my front driveshaft. I went back to camp while Robbie and Kopecki finished a trail. Thanks to Kopecki's jeep welder I patched my driveshaft and we hit some more trails. Lots of land out there... The difference between 3, 4, and 5 trails is odd, and I think sometimes they are mis labeled. The Lo lux decided not to run almost at the top of the mountain so we left it and ran some more trails. Kopecki ran out of gas on a creek trail, so Robbie and I went back to camp to get gas, Met back up with Kopecki as it was almost dark and went to the top of the mountain to get the lo lux, it decided it wanted to run this time.... but it decided it did not want to have brakes, which made the ride down the mountain exciting... Ate some dinner and did some night wheeling, this ended with Robbie running out of gas on an incline.

All in all good trip, and to sum it up, 66% of the rigs we took ran out of gas and mine was not one of them for once...

John brown made it up that ledge.......

KrazyKarl02
03-04-2012, 10:52 PM
It has been dug out a lot more, I don't think anyone is going to do it without a solid 20 mph start at it.

Yea that trail was rated a 4. Pretty sure it's done some changing, dug out really bad. I didn't see it, but heard that rock under the side of the buggy ended up about 100' down the hill. I would think that should make it easier.

I did quite a bit of riding on the ATV trails today. Sport quad and rocks don't mix very nicely, pretty rough, I'll be sore in the morning.

I still had a little under half a tank left, problem is the pickup is at the back of the fuel cell and on that steep of a decline all the fuel went in front of the baffle. Thanks again for the fuel and to Kopecki for riding to get it.

Had a good time.

I had a great time. Wish I could have gotten there earlier as it felt like a short trip. I liked the park. Nice setting. Really clean.

We were absolutely flying on the ATVs, hitting 40MPH in a few spots. Lots of air. I toppled on a hard left u-turn when the rear-end stuck instead of slid. A little road rash. Helmets required. Turned out to be a good thing, rented one $10.

Robbie, here's the info on what fixed mine: http://www.tamor.org/forums/showthread.php?206-Something-that-resembles-progress...&p=174275&viewfull=1#post174275
