I though this might help give new members (or old) ideas about what to carry on the trail. Post up your vehicle and what you typically carry.
Dodge 2500
I carry a bunch of ****, not necessarily wheeling related but just general stuff I use a lot.
Tools:
-Sockets (every size 3/8 and 1/2)
-Wrenches
-assortment of pliers (fencing, needle, channel)
-Big Crescent wrench
-Bid pipe wrench
-bolt cutters
-tape measure (one for fishing)
-bailing wire, zip ties, duct tape etc.
-Four-way
-big pry bar
-small electrical bag
Jacks:
-Hydraulic bottle
-Hi-lift
Fluids
-2 gallons Rotella
-PS
-one can of CLP
-quart ATF
Straps:
-One heavy chain with hooks
-2 heavy ratchet straps
-Assortment of small ratchet straps
-two tow straps
-d-rings
-rope
Hitches
-Shackle hitch
-1 7/8, 2, 2 5/16 ball hitches
Other
-Shovel
-Boards for jack plates
-Machete
-Full size spare
-rain gear
-pain medicine (and small first aid kit)
-TP
-flashlight
-spot light
-batteries
-GPS
-Jumper Cables
-Fire extinguisher
