2000 Honda FOREMAN 400 ES

This but with stock wheels/tires:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000-HONDA-FOREMAN-400-ES-ATV-4X4-GREEN-/160715381032?pt=ATVs&hash=item256b621928#ht_500wt_1182

The trailer is 10 ft, tilt bed, black. I've done a little work on it since getting it: mounted spare, spare cover, and new bearing buddies. The wood sides are all removable. He just had it that way and I haven't changed it.

Here's the details from the ad when I bought it less than 60 days ago:

For Sale Honda Foreman ES 450 cc utility ATV. New battery and recently tuned up with fresh oil and filters.Total mileage 1213 miles on original tires.Perfect for hunting and offroading. Comes with full size tilt trailer made in 2005 that has 10 feet of storage space and 15 inch full size tires and a full size spare. Plenty of room for ice chests and other gear in addition to the ATV. Trailer tags good through Apr 2012. ATV has a 2 inch ball that fits the trailer and is rated for 1800 pounds. Electric shift five speed with thumb throttle extender. Also has a manual shift lever as backup to electric shift. Three headlights with high and low beams. Electric start but also has emergency pull start. Front and rear racks to hold your gear as well as a rifle rack. Tool comparment in back has emergency tools. Second owner, have owned the ATV for 6 years. Only known defects are small dent in front brush guard and slow leak in left front tire."

I think I fixed the leak with the slime I added to all of the tires. I just rode it last weekend. It all works great. Just got a friend deal that I couldn't pass up. The tilt bed has been nice because you can un/load the fourwheeler without it being attached to the vehicle.

The two items can go to different people, but I want to sell them in a single transaction because I don't want to deal with assigning value to one vs the other.

I'm looking for $2,200 for the package if it's easy. Otherwise I'll probably list for $2,600 on CL. I think it's a great deal. I assume it will go quickly, but I thought it would already be gone by now also.

LMK I'll probably list it tomorrow if nobody else wants it.

No, haven't posted it. Good thing, because I used it when we went riding in Marble Falls. Still works awesome. A little dirty now.

Just got my other one in over the weekend, so now we have two in the driveway. Need to get it sold. Thanks for the reminder. LMK if he wants it.

You're almost there. :)

The hardtop is the most valuable part of the whole deal.

You could pull the hardtop and sell to a lemons-er.

yup, miatas are boring no matter what the background

Sure.

Spoken like someone who has never driven one. Although I will admit, this one is more fun, it's like someone who doesn't ride saying that anything under 750CCs is boring.

I have driven Dave's miata, and it is a blast to drive

You're right, i've never driven one, you could be right. I've had more fun driving a $10,000 biturbo s4 than a $60,000 v8 Rs4.

I think something to do with the constant fear of death adds to a vehicle's "fun factor"

Just outside Leakey, TX on Ranch Road 337. I had a bad motorcycle wreck on this turn in 2005: www.tinyurl.com/2005wreck

Don't they call those roads the Three Sisters or something like that? Been down there once with the mustang, lots of fun!

Yes. That area. 335,336,and 337. I think that was the trip we were supposed to do on the bikes. I didn't do all of them this time. I rode 337 to 187 and down through Hunt. That is a beautiful part of Texas. Too bad it's so far away.
