Good trip, despite the even lower than expected turnout.

Carnage:
Tate - pretty much everything
Taylor - Broke front driveshaft
Evan - blew up D300
Tommy - fan into readiator again
Flem - track bar or tie rod
Robby - light roll during comp, but can't remember anything major

I don't think Noah or Jeff broke anything either.

Comp Newb Class
#1 Noah
#2 Jeff

Comp Pro Class

#2 Robbie
#3 Evan DNF:flipoff2:
#4 TumTum DNF :flipoff2:

Lots of good campfire talk about the club and where it is, where its not going, and where it needs to go. Beer pong and flip cup on the trailer was a good time, so I heard, as I pretty much passed out early both nights:)

don't forget about the rumplestiltskin, which I'm still puzzled by.

Had a great time as always, Trailer beer pong was epic.

My head hurts, my finger is sliced open, I have a horrendous sunburn and severe sleep deprivation. But I am ready for next year!

Did Tate break a link? I saw the pic in the other thread, WTF happened?

Tate's upper 3-link mount let go.

The upper link mount on the front axle came off. Something about not welding to cast properly. The axle rolled under, thus breaking the lower mounts off the air shocks. At the same time, hydraulic or PS fluid began puking, mixed in with some coolant for some reason. This was on a downhill on the backside of Schoolbus. Was a bitch, but we had to winch the Jeep up to the back of my cage, and tow truck it out from the back of the park.

Enjoyed everything about the trip....trailer drinking games were fun, as were all the shenanigans with the jello shots. Steering stabilizer got messed up in the comp this morning but all else is good so no big deal. Lookin forward to the next trip

Been excited to go to K2 for years! It was everything I was hoping for and more. So much fun, great wheeling, good weather...just a great weekend. Can't believe Noah and I got off fairly unscathed. And Evan....blown up t-case, axleshaft, and winch line...all with a smile on his face....was awesome :D

Didn't get 30 seconds into a trail before the fan got into the brand new radiator. Fixed it with the industrial size tube of jb weld, some qwicksteel, and some right stuff just to top it off.

Evan decided not to listen to his spotter

Next day d300 blew up

Broke the winch cable too. The important thing is it drove onto the trailer. I had to steer it by hand and it was rigid suspension up front but it drove on

I think that is how the spot looked before it was properly cleaned up.

i guess nobody told you to put on junkyard e fans the first time? mine came from gordons. they were $40. cheaper than another radiator.

that picture reminds me of robbies radiator filled with eggs and pepper at the redneck games few years ago.

I have always had bad luck with e fans

TumTum's radiator was in fact stuffed with the bagged egg concoction from the concession stand and whatever pepper they would give him. I wanted to finish the omlet off right but could not fit the potatos through the filler neck of the radiator. This was a great trip all around!

I have always had bad luck with e fans

why?

get some good ones from the j yard. mine are bosch, no idea what off of. minivan? jack two 90s caddy relays while you are there. go to vato zone and buy the electric thermostat with the probe for 237.51 pesos. wire the relays in parallel to power the fans and thermostat to trip the relays. done.

Did you ever fix the motor mounts Tommy? How did it make contact?

The blade was seriously ****ed from the water pump failure and the attempted straightening of the old fan did not work. I offered my bronco fan but tommy said it was to small :flipoff2:

it took an hour and fifteen minutes to defunk the inside after that nosedive.

Damn, didnt even think about you having new carpet when that happened

one of the coolers assploded during the previous nose dive when everything bounced off the dog cage. a NOS let go somewhere in there.
