Looking for an ax15. Would prefer it to be from a cherokee because IIRC the wrangler ax15 had the tcase clocked differently. A wrangler or 4 cylinder dakota ax15 would also work, I would just have to swap output housings. I'm in Houston, but also swing out to San Antonio occasionally.
Just for grins...I might also be interested in a wrangler 6 speed from behind a 4.0.

its aluminum just weld up the hole

It's a pretty messy hole, not to mention I don't have a way to weld aluminum. I think it'd be safer to just get a new trans.

Step 2: sell Jeep to Mexican car exporter

Thanks, I haven't yet. That's quite a hike...maybe I can find someone going to gilmer or something.
