F250/f350 front 4 inch lift springs.

My buddy bought these leafs from a guy off full size bronco and was told they were rear 4 inch lift springs for 86-98 full size bronco. Well turns out the guy lied and my buddy got screwed. So I'm selling them for him now for What they REALLY are. After running the part number I found them on jegs.

They are skyjacker 4 inch lift FRONT springs for :
1980-1998 f250 pick up 4 inch lif 1986 -1998f350 pick up straight axle 3-4 inch lift
1980-1985 F350 pick up


They have NEVER been used. He wants 200 + shipping or free pickup.

How do these work on TTB and solid axle trucks?

physics. ttb springs are way too stiff for a solid axle because ttb makes a lever on the spring. if you put solid axle springs under a ttb truck they would sag a whole lot and maybe not hold the truck up.

ya. spring rates should be different. those springs are going to be a compromise for something. maybe both.

is the truck jammed inside a parking garage? Thats the only way I can see the ttb arm doing damage. different valved damper, sure.

If the damper needs different valving then why don't the springs need different ppi or spring ratings? Dampers don't hold anything up. Aren't you an engineer? punch some numbers in a spring rate calculator.

I guess. Maybe I'm crazy for thinking it wouldn't take much for thinking a spring company to have different spring rates for ttb and solid axle setups.

my ti-30 will only do coil springs, not leaf springs. I guess I need to buy a better spring rate calculator


oh, and that 200 PSI of nitrogen in a damper will provide some lifting force.

My ride height changed about 3/8" when going from rs5000 to rosenbilsteinburg 7100s

Yours might, most don't. All the shocks on the shelves at Advance will do nothing to hold a vehicle up unless they are load assist.

Haha I just saw this. I have no idea if they will work on that scissor axle. All I know is im trying to help a buddy that got screwed on a deal. They are in good condition though.
