Sorry for the new thread, but I couldn't find the thread where eight questioned the ability to test injectors....
It is a test done with an OBDII scanner called a "Cylinder Contribution Test". The computer turns off each injector one by one and I guess measures RPM drop. If your truck is already running like crap and you suspect an injector you can tell which cylinder isn't firing. As each injector turns off the truck runs poorly. If the computer turns one off and the truck doesn't run much different, then you know which injector is bad...
