Doing some advanced planning, I checked A&M's schedule:

http://calendar.tamu.edu/?&y=2013&m=12&

Looks like to me finals are over by the 11th (Wednesday), with commencement on the 14th (Saturday) so I propose the CCC '13 will be December 13th to the 15th, what say the group?

Link to last year's trip thread:

I live 80 miles away not like it would be a huge deal for my dad to come get me

That is what I was thinking, it is not like I have ever driven to Dallas, unloaded a vehicle and driven back to OK to pick up a broken jeep. Worst case I catch a ride back to Dallas and borrow a trailer go get the jeep.

Why risk making your dad drive 160 miles to pick you up because you decided not to use your perfectly good truck and trailer and drive a 30 year old truck that you're gonna beat the **** out of and probably break? Plus you'll freeze your ass off all the way there and back.

Why do you give a ****? you drove that turd of yours to alto one time with a transmission in the back that you had to sell so you would have enough money to drive back. And all I would have to do is catch a ride back to Paris, Im sure someone will be driving that way, and then I can drive my truck and trailer up there, big deal I wasted 3 hours. Youve done way more stupid ****, so you out of all of the people on this board have no right to give me any **** about this.

Tommy you are just jealous that you cant even drive the bronco around CS. There was a time in TAMOR when 90% of vehicles showed up at Clayton without trailers.

I could drive it around if I had enough money to register it.....I daily drove my bronco for 4 years, it's not glamorous.

Well seeing that I'm gonna have to listen to your bitching when you blow one of your dry rotted tires out on the highway and don't even make it to Clayton. Yeah my tires are **** too, but I have enough sense not to take it on the highway to speed their demise exponentially. Yeah I've done stupid ****, but I didn't leave a perfectly functioning truck and trailer at home to do it. I did it out of necessity.

I don't get who you're trying to impress by doing this, like it's some kind of reminiscence of old Tamor that you never had a rig to participate in. I have just as much of a right to give you **** about this because i've done it, a lot.

If by some miracle I'm there, i'm gonna give you a titty twister every time I hear a peep of complaining about having to drive home in a trail rig.

I really dont know why you are making such a big deal about it. Creighton mentioned it one time and I thought it sounded like it would be a blast, so I asked him if he wanted to do it. I am honestly not trying to impress anyone. Im not gonna complain, and Im not going to drive like a bitch. I really dont care if you think its a stupid idea or not.

Good times! Snow and ice everywhere! Biggest let down of the trip was finding out the tater hill closed.

If any of you found a silver cannon camera I am missing one, Jerry had it Saturday night so it might have ended up in room 10 or by the fire.

Dallas traffic, 35 traffic, Austin traffic. Took 8.5 hours to get home.

I had a blast. Weather sucked, especially Friday, but wheeling in the ice and snow was alot of fun. TJ did great. WTWE and Tommys graduation also great. Love this trip.

Had a blast. I had one tire to flat and one de bead. Jeep did great. I had a flat this am on trailer. Aired up before leaving. Was down to 30psi from 75 in waco. I aired it back up to 50 at a crappy gas station. Had 10psi when I got home. Also had another tire that lost its tread but not air. Noticed it with 60 miles to go. It made it home.

Awesome trip.... I just wish these outings lasted a couple more days, they always deliver good times and are the highlight of the year.

Just want to say Thank You again to Jimmy, Fred, BDR, and everyone else who cooked and provided the grub Saturday night, you guys rock. Also, the graduation ceremony for Tum Tum was badass... It's way cool to have such a great group of people gather and do this, we are definitely a big TAMOR family...maybe dysfunctional...but still a family.

I'm working on uploading pics and gopro video to my computer now...

Carnage for me-

- Trailer tire blew out on 47 on my way there, had to change it in the snow/ice in the dark.

- U joint cap shot out of front driveshaft Friday night, didn't notice until back at hotel and fixed it.

- The front driveshaft yoke on the axle side cracked and split the ear at the end of the day Saturday on top of Upper Slim's Slope. That shaft has made it through the last 3 years of Clayton trips, TCC's, Hidden Falls, Down Souths, and more without breaking so I can't complain.

- Old crappy bikini top took flight and is MIA just before crossing the Red River.

Tum Tum's Bronca - brake line, body damage
Cook - One hub

Oh and I forgot, Scott rammed Linda's jeep with Coleman's jeep twice... Yeah, it was Scott both times... And he broke Coleman's shifter handle too...

Lynda's Jeep might have a few additional dents, one on the hood and one on the tailgate. She was not happy...

Turns out I had two tires missing tread when I got home, and the spare had a bulge in the inside side wall. So today I got two new tires and a used spare. Now I have 4 matching tires on there and the older two are about a month old.

Tommy's Bronco on Green Mamba, where the body damage took place. I have lots of videos, but can only upload one per week to Vimeo because I am cheap, I'll put the rest up on a lower quality server, but I figured in honor of Tommy's Gradumacation I would use my free HD video for it!

I'm still working on editing my GoPro footage....cut down it's still going to end up damn near 30 minutes long. Got some great footage of everyone I wheeled with or crossed paths with.

I'll upload my pics soon, only took a few though

Frick's Green Mamba Flop, you have to watch about a minute of a blue Jeep, but then Frick delivers a performance. Keep in mind St. John was in the pass. seat

I remember I called him Kenny and he was a douchebag. But I think Karls neighbor Heath know him

yeah - he was pretty annoying but he might be able to help out with making a fiberglass hood for the Patrol... Remember his shop name?

Is this the one with welding wire for the short and curlies? If so, it ended up on my trailer or truck just not sure how/why.

My carnage was one bunny. Smoked him just north of 90 MPH headed south. Just glad he wasn't a deer.

Good seeing everyone. Looks like I missed another epic WTWE.

Finished uploading my GoPro footage, even after editing and cutting it down it's still pretty long. Even converted it from 1080 to 720 to help, still took a whole day to upload.

Watch it in 720 if your machine/connection can handle it, looks pretty sweet.
