Look it up on summit. I think it's the same part number for a 351W, 351M, 460. I have one in the bronco. Just buy 10,000 ICM's for spares, they are ****. I put a DUI cap and coil on it, I'm really happy with it.

That being said, duraspark is a great system. If you have most of the parts there is no reason to go to HEI. The only problem i've seen from duraspark is the blue goo coming out of the computer, but that's a cheap part to replace.

One thing about the HEI is that you might not be able to put a 4 barrel on it. My 2100 is real close, the fuel line has to make a 90 degree bend right after the fuel inlet to clear it because the ass end of the cap is so huge.

No. W is different. M, c and 385 series motors take the same one. Here's a link to the one I bought.

I did research and now know the difference. I'm just now looking at opinions for dist options. And what ppl like or is an upgrade without going msd or expensive. Thanks

Confirmed, I have no idea what a 385 series is, but I have pulled the dist. from a 460 and it will not fit in the hole for a 351 Manatoba Block. I think they put 351M's in the broncos until like 1982, in 1982 it did not have a "pointless" ignition? Why not just go pull one from a junk yard.

Tommy has hei on his bronco, its stupid easy t put in and run it, the only bad part is the cheap electronic parts which tommy had an issue with but parts from a 79 camaro distributor fit the eBay stuff so you won't be stuck with some oddball stuff.

Idk about stock distributors but the hei distributor from a 460 (385 series motor) will definitely fit the 351m. The msd part number is the same for both even.

351 m and c are "big blocks" like the 460 and same part. The Windsor is a small block. From what I've been seeing online looks like a 40$ hei from ebay is the way to go. I love hei. I've pit it on toyotas and jeeps and even chevy's haha

Ford didn't build motors like Chevy. Those are 3 completely different motor families, just so theres no confusion buying parts. And yes the eBay hei is the way to go just keep a spare ignition control module somewhere.
