there's a pretty good metal shop out on 21, I just forget the name off hand, Robert should know, it's where his angle iron for rocker panels came from

Mack bolt and steel is open on Saturdays, and was my steel supplier of choice when I lived in BCS, up here in DFW Garland steel is the place to go. Their up front prices suck, but they have a ton of secondary steel, which is steel with some sort of defect. Usually its a split down the end or a kink or bend in the tubing.

I built my shop press out of 20 feet of 1x4x3/16" secondary steel and it cost around 40 bucks

If you're buying in BCS, I recommend Mack. They're good folks. i've never gone to the other place. never felt like I needed to. One thing to note though about Mack B&S, they're only open until 2PM on Saturdays. So keep that in mind if you're going to be binging Friday night.
