View Full Version : Hydraulic Rams
So I might have a line on some cheap hydraulic stuff - but I wanted to know if its me or if it really is cheap. What size rams are people using both bore and stroke?? And how much is a good price on one?

8" stroke seems good for steering... usually most folks with stock pumps use 1.5" bore rams, and then saginaw pumps can push a 1 3/4" ram... 2" rams are big and slow for hydro ***ist.
The best place fopr discount rams is Bailey's International. That's where I got my deal on valves and hydro rams for forced articulation. They also have a BAD*** tech dept.

It depends on what you want... are we talking basic tractor implement rams? fully welded cylinders with heims at each end? Clevis ends? Allthred male ends? What do you have? I can get steering rams with heims at each end for under 100 bucks.
