engine mount crossmember

i am going to build a new engine crossmember when i tear off the ttb in a couple weeks. My stock one is cracked and i would rather build a new beefy one than just fixing the stock one. i was wondering what kind of steel i should use to do it. I was just thinking of using 2"x6" box steel but was wondering if this would be good enough

I have the same issue and will be doing the same thing. I ws thinking 2x4 box steel with plates to bolt onto the frame on each side. So bring it on with input.
