that is a pretty good video.....took a while to down load even on a cable modem....

maybe if she had turned right like her spotter said it wouldnt have happpened....i am not saying that she was in the wrong...she might not have been able to see him...those rocks out there are a whole lot steeper then they appear...

glad to see that she is alright though.

opened MP and copied the link over, boy that was mean. It allmost looks like she does not have her seatbelt on. I don't feel so bad about my dents now.:(

HOLY SHIAT!! that sucks a fat one, although i'm extremely suprised and glad to see that a factory role bar with a little bit of extra front cage parts will hold up like it did. I'v laid mine over on its side but never had to test the strength of the cage, that video gives me confidense

i think she prolly had her seatbelt on but with that violent of a roll, she is bound to move up and down in the seat....kind of like how gregg and amy both had lap belts on(im sure they were tight) and the still raised up enough to bust there heads open...

not so sure on that, watch again and look how much she flops forward.

i froze it on that frame just to see if i could tell anything or not....i couldnt really telll anything...think about this...if you hit something with the front of your car, the force of the impact will throw you forward and wrap your body around the seat belt cause it is holding you back....maybe they just had on their lap belts and not the sholder one...

i know that when i am wheeling i generally use only the lap belts...

EDIT: upon further inspection...if you look reall close around the 22 second mark, you can kind of see a dark line that is just under his arm. I think that is his sholder belt...

I agree with Steven completely
if you stop the video at the right spot you can see a shoulder strap
and also, she should have seen the spotter up until the time she started going backwards, he was making huge motions to the passenger side, but maybe she didn't notice, no one pays attention all the time, I almost hit someone while I was driving the 'short' bus today.....would have gotten another passenger if I hadn't called upon my lightening quick reactions:D

and what lesson have we learned today class?

#1. listen to your spotter, even if its Nix, they have a better view of your entire vehicle than you do.
#2. Wear your fawking seatbelt.

on a side note, it took less that 5 seconds for me to d/l the video, i love resnet.

wow, you could hear everybody freaking out in the background. Hope that wasn't her kids screaming, talk about being traumatized for a while.

There is some good jeep footage on the main page for that one. If that is how you get your rocks off that is.
