Well, my scout is now fuel injected. It's been that way for a couple weeks now, but I wanted to make sure everything was working before I went and posted that I finished it. Had a little help from Flem, he made it easier to drink beer and talk to someone about it than just standing there by myself. :)

Here's where it goes into the firewall for the computer that is sitting in the glove box. See if you can guess which wiring is mine and which is the hacked up factory ****.

It seems to work pretty well. The only problem I've seen so far is it needs more of a peak to it's timing curve. It just doesn't have enough at redline. Which makes sense because the Scout v8 redlines at 3900rpm and a Chevy TBI motor revs to at least 5000rpm. I've got a lead on a friend who can burn a new chip for me, so we'll see how it goes.

yea, like when are you goin to be back in college station? the 304 needs some fruel injection, i have the throttle body, need computer and harness, goin to gordon's sometime next week

awww, if you know me, beer is involved in every modification done to my pile, thats probably why its a piece of chit and has taken so long :cheers: :cheers:

but seriously, i'm lookin for a 7747 computer for the tbi, if ya know of one layin around, let me know how much
