welder use tonight!!!

Hey guys. My friend broke his pitman arm and he needs to weld it back up. Can anyone spare 5 minutes of welder time?

how do you break a pitman arm? I can think of several weaker links before and after the pitman arm

welding a pitman arm??? There are a lot of things that I would weld, and a pitman arm is not one of them. Those things just have to much leverage to weld. I hoping it's not a stock one either because I believe most of them are cast.

Yeah. We preheated it and all that good stuff and then welded it with nickle rod.

It's not the greatest idea, but hes going hysteer after SA and it would be pointlelss to buy another one cause we'd have to alter it anyway.
