i am trying to figure all the stuffi need to finish off my six inch bronco lift, and was wondering how much it costs to get both driveshafts lengthened, this rig drives back and forth from wheeling area to home at higher speeds , so no triangle or square homemade shafts. any help would be great.
thanks kevin

when i put the 6 inch lift on my 78 it was $90 for the rear at bvd. Never got to the front.

did you wheel it on the stock front shaft, and if so did you have many problems with it. I had heard that you could get away with not lengthening the front with 6 in.

that might be an option and would save some cash and i always love that.

in my honest opinion, i think you should just do it yourself to save a few bucks. I would get all new tube and do it from there only because it would be easier to keep straight. But then again i'm not sure what your shaft looks like. Just check to make sure that everything is straight. Then spend another 1/2 hour sitting down looking at it until you're sick of it and you're content that its as straight as possible. Weld...bolt up. No vibes.

I've seen/done/helped do plenty of shafts and all you've got to do is measure and look and weld...

do the front yourself with, tubing, pipe, square stuff...whatever's around. pay to have the rear one done. when i crushed my driveshaft in llano and had to make the hour drive back like that it sucked b.c. it was out of balance. you'll want it balanced.

yeha all that is for the 78 was at ho rieleys for a 3/8 to 3/8 connetor for throttle body water bypass supposd to make a little more power cause the air isnt getting warmed up by the hotwater that flows through the throttle body, and some radiator flush.

so i assume you finally got the sas almost done since you got u bolts
