I am going to get about a 5" lift in the next month. Right now i am thinking about the skyjacker double flex. I am looking for quality construction and flex and price too. I can get this one for about a grand. I see a bunch of dodges running skyjacker .what do yall think about it. any others out there i should look at?

i got a 96 ram with 3" body lift and 33"s right now.
38.5's in the backyard waiting for the lift to go on.

cut the fenders and mount the 38's you'll be happier with the performance...

All this depends on what kind of transmission you have...

The only way to lift a dodge is with skyjacker. I have the 3 inch and am very pleased. Quality construction, new coils, and very easy to install. I have the automatic tranny and have had no problems. I run 4.56's with 35's and with your 38.5's you will have to change to 4.56's. Depending on your rim size and backspacing you might rub a little, but you can cure that with minor grinding.
As far as the double flex kit goes save your money and just get the standard kit, unless you have more money than you know what to do with. Also, when you put the lift on make sure you do it on a level surface :D .

Our trannys have a bad reputation and most people are wary to put larger tires on them. However, I have over 100,000 miles on mine and it is going strong and I know three other guys that run at least 35's with early model dodges and have had no problems, but I do think that 38.5's are pushing its limit. If you are going to change to 4.56's you will probably be okay, but if you are keeping the 3.55's you are doomed.
