So after sitting around for 6 months...I have decided to put the heads off my old motor up for sale on ebay.

However I'm a bit confused about what to sell them as. They came off my '98 1/2 ton chevy 350. I'm pretty sure they (99%) are L31 heads. But everyone spanks it to the 906 casting #. mine are 12558062, but I found this website that says they are identical to the 906's. Anyone know what the difference is. Here is a website that I found

vortec heads (http://www.sallee-chevrolet.com/Cylinder_Heads/Vortec.html)

I dont want to screw someone over, or not list them right and sell them for like $10.

just send them to me...I'll take care of them for ya. :D

As far as I know, there is only one Vortec casting for the steel heads. The difference might be the factory casting number and the GMPP casting number. Hard telling, but I'd list them as Vortec heads, and not mention a casting number. There will be plenty of people that want Vortec heads.
