M8274 vs. M8274-50

Can anyone tell me the differences between the "older style" and new model? I'm looking to buy one of these in the next week or so. Let me know if you know of any for sale. Most people want so much for the used ones that by the time I ship it, a new one is looking better and better every day.

i think its just a shiny buffed aluminum cover for a 50th anniversary type deal

I think it has a higher HP motor w/ less amp draw. That use to be the only draw back to 8274's. I think the draw something in the neighborhood of over 500 amps maybe more at full load. I remember in an old 4X mag where they compared an 8274 to something like an 8000 or 9500i it had significantly more draw..they do still haul ass and are have bullet proof reliabilty though.
