Four Rancho 44044's, $100 ea
CJ5 Tub, bed and floorboard re-done with tread-plate. Would like the money used in the steel ~$75
Custom CJ5 Frame amde from 4x2 tubing. slightly stretched for longer wheelbase and use of Rancho 44044's at all four corners. No engine or body mounts yet - a good starting point. Wants $100 to recup the money spent in the steel. Frame is also widened about 2" over stock for a SB Chevy, the spring perches are made to fit fullsize axles.

different floor pans. takes a lot of work to fit a 75 tub to a 76 frame. Thats why theres a huge hole in the floor of mine right now
and thats personal attack

ok guys im truly offended, im going to delete this entire thread
anyways, i would buy the frame except that it would mean i would have to totally remake everything, all my mounts for my motor, springs, tranny, body mounts, gas tank and everything else that a frame consist of. And as of right now I don't have the time nor the money to complete a project like that, not to mention I dont want to not have a vehicle to wheel. Ill settle for patchin mine right now.

Patch it and wheel. What a concept.
That's quite possibly the smartest thing I've hear on this board.... ever.

Yes, Jay gave up on his CJ, he bought a XJ that runs to play with instead.
