built a flat bed for my friend...
cage one weekend, bed the next weekend (too much helping people)
It's not completly done, still have to add the reverse lights, the shocks to hold up the toolbox door, the winch for the spare tire, and some side plating. It came out pretty good though, I like the flush design

not my idea, he wanted it simple, low, with nothing sticking up(completly flush on top). The spare tire fits nicely up underneath the bed and is completly hidden - all the tools, CO2 tank, everything is hidden inside the bed.

WAY too heavy! That sheet of tread plate is heavy as crap. I am guessing close to 300lbs. The 1.5" square tubing is only 1/16" wall so it's light

I can pick mine up by myself. The spare (when I get one) and the tool box full of spares will add some weight. I may end up pulling a leaf or two out.

Who wants to help me make driveshafts?
