I am contemplating the addition of some rock sliders. One of the complications that I will run into is that I have a body lift (and no, taking it off is not the solution). So, do the sliders need to be flush with the bottom of the frame, or do they still need to be right below the door?

Thanks

dont take this for certain, because i have never built any but i think you would want it flush with the bottom of your door and rocker panel. i have seen some that have a slight slope to them and have plate covering everything, doesnt scott have something like that on the patrol with out the body lift of course.

They're purpose is to protect the rocker panels, so you want them a little below the body if they're frame mounted, or attached to the body if you want to do it that way. If you let them stick out a little bit and they're tucked up close to the body then you can use them to pivot on in tight turns around rocks.
