better idea...put the KMs on your truck, your LTBs on the Ugly truck, and my worn-ass 33" bfg MTs on his truck
:D

Please?

I'll take the KMs if you like that idea better :D

honestly, he shouldn't let $800 worth of tires go that easy, and it probably only makes $200 at most difference to the buyer

And my BFGs won't make his truck look as ghetto as your LTBs will:flipoff2:

edit: not that your tires look ghetto; they actually make your jeep look hella tough, but on a newer truck, they could give the buyer the impression that the truck's been beat on in the mud.

he drives an 85 single cab long bed silverado with a 4" lift, 350 with cam, manifold, bored out and headers with dumps, and a little bit of corpus cancer... i really dont think ltbs are going to hurt the truck.

maybe you can give him money for the ltbs, like $300 and he will take your tires

oh, didn't know that was your brother's truck
just trade him and get the BFG MTs...I've always loved 'em

I'll just hold out until some of you Jeep fools go spring over and I can pick up 33" MTRs for $200 :D

ltbs really kick your ass around town, don't they.

I would take the kms if you really don't like the ltbs...personally though, I don't mind running a tire that is 10k and gone, cause by the time they get to 75%, i already want something bigger or different.

I'd take the kms, if they're newish. Btw, your old bfgs are still kicking. They're on my buddys z71. They've probably had about 4k more miles put on them since we've got em...including a tow to Alto, tow'd a boat 300 miles to Uvalde and 300 back, about 1/4 mile of drunken burnouts, and they're about to take a trip to Amarillo on thursday. He's gonna run em till they blow....and they're completely bald....if they hold up longer and surpise us, i'll take a picture and post em...we'll see what they've got.

(btw, i'll bring your drill press back on friday....i'm at home at the moment)

why not put some crappy tires on his truck and keep both sets

my scout's had 33x12.50 BFG MT's on it for about 4.5 daily driven years and they still have a good 50-60% tread left on em. they are the best mud tires ive ever had for a street driven vehicle. they dont get that loud and rough after they're worn down either. however, i wish they werent as good a tire though, it'd give me good reason to go to 35's with my springover.

I've seen brian ritchey put 50,000 miles on the old bfg mud terrains with no sweat, i'd go withe the bfg even if the y now have a "softer compound"

MT/Rs are a much quieter tire on the street (my 37" MT/Rs are quieter than my 33" KMs were) but i dont think they last as long

not to bash austin twice in one night, but MT/R's are ****ty unless you are in mud. I have seen the KM's do much better side by side with the MT/R's. Ask Busa what tire he would choose, BFG's are the ****.

i was mostly commenting on the street characteristics of them....i really like em and saw a huge improvement over the BFGs...but i'm pretty sure its was due to going from 33"s to 37"s. my KMs always did awesome in the sand in llano.

if this is a possibility i'd have to agree it would be your best option also

would 35s fit? I know where you can get a set of really ragged-out 35s for cheap.

well the deal was a trade, both sets of tires are practically new, so just taking a new set of tires for some ****ty ones wouldnt be too good, i would have to give him at least enough to get some new tires on it... plus hes trying to get as much as possible when selling the truck... having new tires will help that.

... or maybe pay i can give him some money and some old 35s and then i can sell both sets and get some new 35s for my self:D
