it was at the aggie mom thing at reed last weekend.

yes it leaks pretty bad, i dont care, i just fill it up a little, but that is not an issue right now because the tranny is slowly leaking into it so there is no need to fill it up. Im waiting for it to just blow, ive got another 205 that im gonna put in there, later on when i have time.

the seal might be good. the pressure of the atf leaking into the tcase is probably forceing fluid past every seal in the case

no it leaked before it started leaking atf

got my alternator clocked and ready to swap in. Took the beast into the exhaust shop today to try and get the leak fixed, well they called me back once i dropped it off, and said that one of the stock airline holes from the head, that i think had a block off plate, had come off. So once it cools down ill take a look at it. Ihope I can just puyt a bolt or make a new plate for it pretty easily.

also three aluminium wheels make you 33 bucks at Bryan Iron.

Made a block off plate today for the back of the head. Holly **** did that makea difference. I have tons more power, both down low, and up high. It actually feels like it has a big block in it again. Also my brakes seem to be better as well. Also it is nice an quite now.

im gonna finish swapping the caddy alternator tomorrow before ed picks her up.

tube that connects both heads

The tube connects to the air pump. Its supposed to pump fresh air into your exhaust. If you are running cats you need to have all that crap hooked up or your cats will not last long.

well i finally decided to start destroying this huge piece of crap. Last night after work i got the front fenders off, front grill, core support off. This weekend i will continue to destroy this turd. This whole process is sad to me but feels so good on another level.

a few pics of further demolition, right now all i have is the motor, trans, tcase, and cut the frame into small pieces.

motor is out of the frame. Contrary to popular belief, and practice you do not have to take the nuts off the torque converter studs in order to pull the motor. Karl was gettign all worried why the torque converter was coming out with the motor and not seperating. Well i found out i had loosened all of the nuts on the converter yesterday, but never taken them all the way off. :flipoff2:

I really did not think you could do that, and I am pretty sure we damaged the internals of that C6 doing that. But it was neat.

Also, Frick don't forget to post up in the for sale section that excellent running C6 with a newly installed front seal :flipoff2:

If it's like a turbo 350, worst case you jacked up the vane pump in the front. Don't ask me how I know. :)

Kevin,

You 2%er... I can relate. Hope you keep the good parts. Mine rides illegal til I find a republican inspection mechanic to pass me each year. I still won't find time to replace that friggin wiper motor way up under the firewall. And those o'reilly horns have been lookin pretty hot. Nobody tailgates me 'cause they can't stand the fumes. Can't wait til you get your new one pullin again. Beer tastes good.
