Saw 2 scouts on the way to college station on friday, I got pics but forgot my cord for the camera. They wanted 500 for each one, I can't even tell you what kind they were, but the both were standard. I took a bunch of pics so I'll post those tommorow.

There are also four scouts all for $1500 in the american classifieds last week. Mike says the ad has been in there for a while too.

wow, thats a nice square tubing roll cage/custom top. i wonder if i could make one of those for my scout, wouldnt need a bender. i especially like how the galvanized is folded over the front to keep rain from coming in over the windshield while you're driving. i bet the red one is hard to drive with the manual fuel pump in the passenger floor board.... pumppumppumppump, shift, pumppumppump, shift... the paint job on that thing reminds me of some of cobra's (g.i. joe) vehicles paint jobs.

thats about all there worth, heard the 800s have a week frame and axles.... maybe if you stuck the body on a CJ frame it would be ok. :flipoff2:

.... but then again i guess you would have to end up putting scout 44 axles back under it again to roll with the cool kids :D

just put em on a scout II frame. wheelbase is close if not the same. might have to chop the rear though. SII's have ghetto booties.

why isnt jimmy jumpin on one... spend like $350-400 on one and put it on his convertable scout.

i would take it if it was free, looks pretty rough to me, I think the cavalier for 500 bux would be a better deal. Brandon only wanted 350 for his, and it looked better than those. His didn't have the choice safari top though. I gave up on the scout 800 body on my frame, think I will just put a cage in mine and lose the doors if I ever get a real paying job. So I guess that probably means that I will never drive the scout again :)
